matt1979 766
Young fella has really filled out last month or so taking shape nicely and has found his feet. He is very keen and has had the odd run on daily mooches nothing intentional. Been out a few times with the older workers, sadly hasn't been much about for him but he naturally works hard to find stuff, bit heart in the mouth sometimes as he crashes into cover and already has a few war wounds for his efforts, not that it bothers him. Glad I bit the bullet and got a runner as he makes the general walks all the more fun and gives the terrier and bit of help in the field. Not really into lamping but got myself a little cluson lamp more to help bring him on with some catches (hopefully) as daytime bunnies round the land we hunt are tough going. Any thoughts on what age to give him a run on the lamp would be good, I have had him out on the lamp but not slipped him just getting him used to the beam etc and haven't had any easy slips. He is 9 month but has Been out daytime mooching for a good few months and has seemingly reached his max at 21tts last a measured atb 5 Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,217
If he is a pure whippet? I don't see anything wrong with giving him a couple of easy bunnys around 9/10 months. Quote Link to post
