i was talking to some Native Americans at a pow wow a couple of weeks ago and they told me some interesting ways on tanning or preserving.... like to make fans out of bird wings you spread the wing and feathers out and put in a pan of clean cat litter.. then cover with another layer of cat litter and let sit for.... i forget how long... till its all mummified!

Beags; Pop along to Boots and ask the Pharmasist for a small bottle of 40% Formaldehyde solution and a disposable syringe and needle. Explain why ye want such stuff.

Put some Serious eye protection on and slowly inject the 'formalin' into those pads. Try to get as much as each bit will take of it in there, till it just trickes out again. Then put them away in an airy place and leave them alone for a couple of weeks. They'll go hard and be fine there after.

Formalin smells very sharp up the nose. Get it it ye eyes and ye'll wish ye were never born. Don't get it in any cuts either.

:icon_eek: Eh?! Bloody hell, Mooster; And I was buying it when I was thirteen years old. I've since bought Benzine and pure Sulphuric Acid and god knows what else. Explain yeself to a Pharmasist and they always happily sorted me out. And now they've stopped ye even getting hold of bloody Formalin? What next? Worcestershire Sauce?

No wonder kids today are growing up fat and thinking only of their X Box. Poxy f*cking govt!
