Blackbriar 8,569
If you have health worries, help could soon be found in some u likely places........ If the Royal Society for Public Health has its way, an army of cleaners, barbers, postal workers, bar staff and bookies clerks could help to fill the £220 million gap in public health provision, left by recent cuts, and be trained to advise on a variety of physical and mental health conditions. The focus would be on issues around excessive drinking, lack of exercise and poor diet - issues found in abundance in pubs and bookies shops ! Restaurant workers could be trained to advise on healthier diets or you could have your blood pressure checked, while having a short back and sides. Personally, I think I'll wait the three weeks it takes to get a GP appointment ! http://www.theguardian.com/society/2015/jul/21/get-tip-from-barmaid-pub-staff-could-spread-public-health-message
