rabbit demon 302
My jill had hard lumps under and around the teats. Was just a build up of milk, went away once the kits were bigger and suckling more. She had a smallish litter. Sometimes it would go away then come back again. Though if your jill has mastitis she'll need an antibiotic. Quote Link to post
Guest alcapone
Yes only had 3 kits so small litter, feels like a milky doe rabbit, its hard down one side of her teats, asume mastitis. Will spin her up the vets anyway to be sure, kits are 4wk old now. Quote Link to post
rabbit demon 302
Mine was the same. One side swollen for a couple days. Then go down and the other side would swell. Build up of milk. If your unsure vets is your best bet. Better safe than sorry. Quote Link to post
Guest alcapone
Thanks for replies, kits are eating well now so should be ok if anything happens jill. She has been real nippy sonce kits so have just cleaned, fed, watered her to save getting bitten, she was up the wire today is only reason i noticed her,not sure how long she had had it but kits look well and content.
