random 659 Posted July 7, 2015 Report Share Posted July 7, 2015 My first thought when seeing the question "would I regret it" was yes you probably would,if you are doubtful enough to need to ask on a forum then I think you haven't decided one way or the other,otherwise you would know? I think before you chop and change calibre you need to use a .22 for a few trips in a few situations to help decide,or you could end up regretting it and be stuck with a gun you don't like the thought of going out hunting with,could you buy another gun and if you like it keep it or sell the other? Or borrow one? The capabilities of both are well known and both calibres have there fans as shown in just this thread so far and whichever you use will kill,dead,no question,do you really need to swap?
