Guest Uncle Fester
Responded to an advert in a mag for a pup, the lad said a certain dog was the grandfather of the pup so we made a seven hundred mile round trip and bought the pup, four weeks later i had the oppertunity to speak to a man a well known man who worked the dog for nearly all its working life and who is best mates with the owner of the dog, when i told him we had a grand daughter of the dog he told me i did not as the dog was tried on a few bitches but never mated any of them, therefore its impossable to have any line from him.Spoke to the lad who sold us the pup all he said was when he bought his bitch he was told that the dog was the father, in this situation what would any of you do. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> put the breeding of the dog up here so no one else can be caught out! then make an other 700 trip to kick his fukin head in :11:
Stabs 3
Obviously I wouldn't be best pleased, but how are the parents of the pup doing? Are they working well? I would give most consideration to the standard of graft the parents are putting in before even thinking about the grand dam and grand sire. That's if I was buying a pup without thinking of bloodlines that is. I know you think you've got one thing when in fact you've got something totally different, but if the parents are working then at least that might be some consolation to you. I know how important bloodlines are so I just hope that this pup comes good for you if you decide to keep it.

lucky 578
i dont suppose theres much you can do if the pup was bred from genuine workers it would'nt bother me, i'd just carry on as normal with the pup and hope it makes the grade (which you have to do with any pup) it just gives you a lot more confidence in a pup when you know exactly how its bred

J Darcy 5,871
the terrier world is full of pricks trying to rip everyone else off! i know of a litter recently sold locally to some guys a long way away as "100% parks breeding" when they werent. The dog used is a useless thing that has had about 4 foxes and will not leave an earth, it bays at nothing and so its silly owner trenches all the spots, and the m other of the pups is a tiny little bitch that has never been to ground. From what i can gather the pups will be 1/4 parks bloodlines..... i feel sorry for the poor lads who bought them!!
