Guest Navek Posted April 15, 2015 Report Share Posted April 15, 2015 Looking for advice of a joiner ,, phoned a timber merchant today and asked for s 12mmsheet plywood for outside use they said needed s hardwood faced sheet which is exterior grade..... Phoned another timber merchant they had the exact same thing in but said its not exterior grade.the sheet was 8x4 hardwood faced (beech) plywood.... Malt 379 Posted April 15, 2015 Report Share Posted April 15, 2015 Marine ply is the best followed by WBP.(hardwood faced..) As long as you keep on top of any plywood with preserver it will last years anyway. Its what the plys are stuck together with that is most relevant rather than what type of wood its made off.
