random 659
Had a couple of hours this morning over a recently drilled field, beans have been planted I think?,got the hide set up and a few decoys out and got comfy, within half hour we had bagged one a piece,a jackdaw and a crow, the crow fell in brambles so couldn't be retrieved!not long after my mate hit a pigeon so the first hour or so was OK then it slowed down,he got another crow and I missed a pigeon then it went ghost town quiet,we decided to set up at the other end of the field which seemed more like the flight line from the sheep feed they are pinching and the wood they are sitting up in,we waited in a collapsed building on the way back and was quiet there so went to to other end for a while but only a couple flew over and sensed something wrong and turned off sharpish, not great in terms of numbers but definitely great to be out shooting, because like the Beatles sang "happiness is a warm gun"... Pic of the field and decoys, And two of the bag, Hopefully be back up there soon lamping then back out with shotguns... Quote Link to post
