Dog Thieves Durham Area

Just a heads up.

there has been a few items on social media about people who are calling at your door and asking about what kind,what age etc your dogs are and leaving various types of mark outside your house.

while i am normally sceptical of these things it has happened to a friend of mine who lives not far from me.

the guy said he was from the blue cross animal charity and my mates mother answered all of his questions but did not ask for id.

the house wall was marked with yellow chalk.

i know most people are aware of this but the guy also asked all of the neighbours if they knew of anyone with dogs in the street.this was north durham.
