shropshire mole 190
if you read any mole trapping book, they all seem to suggest that you must get the trap in quickly to avoid the mole detecting a change in oxygen levels. Does anyone agree with this.?? My catch rate seems fairly constant whether I put trap in quickly or take a bit of time. Quote Link to post
bryn27 89
I go as quick as needs be but always have my traps set before I open up the run to save a bit time, and to put things back as they were quickly. Quote Link to post
talpa 55
I am sure that the air movement through the tunnels is more likely to alert the mole than changes in O2 conc. ? But it is probably as well to get the job done as quickly as can be done well. Edited March 10, 2015 by talpa 1 Quote Link to post
