ferrets & ferreting

me & del went out yesterday for first time this year went got permission on new place on a hill hard going plenty of set but mostly in the wind bushes only got 3 for half day then went 2 another bit were we had about 70 last year for 3 times ended up with 13 there but 3 of them had mixi but some had also recovered from it he had a young hob with us first time out for him done okay killed 2 but just left the & worked on & bolted the other rabbits i prefer 2 use jills cos the bunnies usualy can get by them 2 bolt but good day had though not as many as there was there last year but good 2 get back out again oh bolted a half grown bunni 2 :thumbs::thumbs:

The new place has just too much cover and too many steep hills :D heres afew pics from the day

A good day. I take my hat off to you. I always get myself ratty before I go, never remember my camera. Collars, beeper, nets, longnets, pegs, guy lines, "for bracing pegs when turning corners", spade, wellies. Everything loaded, and off we go, an unusually quiet and peaceful drive, not usually this quiet, oh feck!!!!! the ferrets, back home, do you want a cup of tea, I haven't time for feckin' tea. Is that rain on the windscreen.

Though when it's good, it's good. :clapper:
