LAMPING FOXY

Recommended Posts

OK More of a rant but here goes, headed out last night to lamp with the lads and seen alot of foxes, about 12 in total. All made of like a bat out of hell once the light was put on them, Now i've heard in the grapevine that a few young fellas with a .22lr are out every night, and they can't hit a barn door. All the foxes are shit scared now and it's going to be tight for the shot to take place.

started out at nine and every fox we lamped made off, now at this stage the blood was starting to boil in me, especially when i heard the night before they were lamping deer with a .22lr :censored: on the way home we spotted one about 125 yards of us, i got out and set up, lamp on away like fook he went through all the fields, so of we went to a better vantage point. thinking roughly were we thought he would be i set the scope up for a 250 yard shot, lamp on of he went again :censored: one of the lads shouted and he stopped a looked around for about 5 seconds knowing he was more than 250 yards i held the scope slightly high on him, BANG, LIKE A TON OF SPUDS, down he went ranged him to be 293 yards. for such a hard night it made it all worth while.

now should i approach these fella's and scae the shite out of them, or let bigons be bigons, they don't give a fook about animals in the fields or any livestock for that matter, :boxing:

i'm going to give them a good going over about the deer at least, so i think i might as well tell them to tie a line on their guns, and use them for fishing rods!!!!!!:blink:

Anyway one accounted for, but it was a hell of a time gettin him......RANT OVER.......... :victory:

You know the score better then we do, it depends on who the lads are, their families and all the rest.

I know taking them to task might seem the right thing to do, but it might do no good and may turn things for the worst.

If they are that piss poor at hunting they'll get sick of it soon enough.

well lads, AS for these fellas being young their 24 years of age. think i'll just keep trying to pick the reds off, even if it is only one at a time.......

as for piss poor, they can't hit a 5 gallon drum at 90 yards....... :wallbash: i've got 22 foxes out of that patch this year and seen 12 more, so i won't be given up that easy
