Bernardelli 112 Extra

I read a article on the Bernardelli 112 extra although i am clay shooting , i was taken in buy the 112 ,however the article said it was a dedicated walk up game gun , which i found confusing , is a clay not simulated bird , so why cant i shoot clay's with a 112 extra, what makes a game gun different from a clay gun , this is all very mysterious ,

I don't know the gun you are describing but SBS are 'traditional' game guns rather than o/u. But as you say you can shoot both with either. I think it is more to do with tradition, but the likes of me doesn't get to go on expensive shoots so I am only guessing.

I really like the 112 think i will buy one not sure if i can break clay's with it but what the hell,i read a lot and consume nerdy facts , so i have convinced my self that short barrels don't make any difference because a cartridge has expended all its energy buy 12 to 18 inches ,so any barrel over the legal 24" is just a waist of metal not to mention extra weight . or am i wrong
