The one 8,600 Posted December 25, 2014 Report Share Posted December 25, 2014 We just got in from the daughters pub we helped out so most of the staff could get the day off and we could be back to have our Xmas dinner at tea time. I know a lot of the folk I spoke to we gratful as they said for one or two folk you couldn't buy the food and cook it and you just walked away afterwards meaning no dishes to wash , then a couple came in asking if they could have a xmas dinner as the hotel they had booked to eat in was closed when they got there ? but a lot of people seemed to be just walking past saw the pub open and came in ? A few folk seemed to be counting there penny's had a cuppa or two and went on there way a humbling day making me grateful for my blessings 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
