STOLEN DOGS ( PLEASE SHARE)
Fom Fintan McGuckin comes news of three working dogs being stolen. The success of a campain to get a lurcher dog back in the Autumn made us realise that the Irish Countrysports and Country Life magazine and FACEBOOK can play an important part in getting dogs back so we have added £200 to the reward for information leading to the return on these dogs.
“Guys can you keep an eye out for there was 3 dogs stolen from their dog pens last Saturday evening around 3.30 to 4 o'clock in the Castledawson/Newbridge/toomebridge area. 2 black labs dog and a Bitch and a liver and white springer spaniel (nearly all white with liver ears and speckled back).cctv only was able to pick up footage of what seems a new style white transit van with three people! Financial reward for the return or whereabouts of these working dogs
Unfortunately the dogs were not chipped! The lab dog is quite large with what I call a broad drake head with a little grey around his whiskers he has a small but noticeable hard cyst lump on his hind left leg at the heel,the lab bitch is quite short legged pure black and the springer bitch is mainly white with liver ears although the right ear is partly white and also liver speckled back! Will try and get photos up! Thee cctv footage is very unclear but it does confirm that it was a new style ford transit van(white colour).” Fintan,
