Guest SJM
If your selling something via the internet always use the email/message facility, that way you can filter out the arseholes. I dont reply to emails that have one line saying something like enquiring about the dog please phone such and such number and thats it, lazy people, if they were really interested they would take the time to write out a proper email. I never bother with witheld numbers either, if they ring me I hang up, and keep doing it as many times as it takes for them to get the message. If they are genuine, they will ring back without witholding their number, or they will ring from a different phone if its automatically witheld from a landline. Also good tips to filter out time wasters are to tell them all the dogs good and bad points straight up and then leave them to decide. If they email or call back and want to take it further, great, if they dont, then dont chase after them emailing or phoning, there will always be someone else come along who is interested in the dog, especially if your selling pups. Adult dogs are always harder to find homes for. Good luck, I had so many phonecalls last time I had an ad in the paper I switched my phone off in the end, and it still rang for weeks after the ad was finished
