Gsp Pup Training

Hi guys,

I`ve been very slowly introducing the stop whistle to my 5 month old GSP using hand signal also. If we are anywhere where there are no distractions i get results but out in the fields and he sees any birds or picks up a scent it`s cloth ear time and ignores any calls.

 

Any advice please.

hi mate keep the drills in the yard.yard drills obedience training retrieve training etc when a 100% add distractions in the yard another dog or what ever when 100% in the yard take him to the field the dog is of an age now of becoming bold now hope this helps
