woodchip 2 Posted October 21, 2007 Report Share Posted October 21, 2007 (edited) So ive just come back from my by monthly visit to a small 8 acre bit of permission i have and it looks like im bolloxed there now . there is an old railway track that runs down the side of the land that has been sold and they have dug the shit out of it ,they have cleared all the warren out from the bushes with a digger smashed up all the hedges and trees and to top it off . all the rabbits i saw had mixy But atleast the land owner is now very happy that her bunnie problem will so be all cleared up Edited October 21, 2007 by woodchip Quote Link to post

SteveieP 0 Posted December 21, 2007 Report Share Posted December 21, 2007 For info', Myxi was first spotted in Uruguay in the late 1800's but deliberately introduced into Australia to quell the, out of control, rabbit population (a lack of natural predators) First tested in 1938 in Australia then a full scale release in 1950. Introduced in France & found it's way to the Uk by 1953 via "natural routes" but then propagated to increase it's spread. Quote Link to post
