I'm thinking that this is what my lakeland has right about now. I took her to the vet a couple weeks back and they thought she had snorted something up her nose and then that had become infected. They gave me a ten day script of clavamox 125 twice a day. Well long story short, she still has a congestion deal going on and a early morning nose snot issue. Anyone have any ideas on what next to do? I can go back to the vet again of course, but maybe I can cure this myself?

I have a bird here which has been diagnosed with Rhinitis/Sinusitis. the advice I had from a Vet in the states was to put the bird on a course of Azithromycin (Zithromax) Antibiotics. I know its a bird I'm talking about but after reading up on the net about this Antibiotic, it seems its the drug of choice for Humans aswel as animals and birds but obviousley in stronger doses.

Its used to any upper respitory conditions aswel as throat and nasal infections. another more natural therapy I was adviced to use was Garlic Oil, I never tried it but was told it kills 99% of bacteria's....

Cheers

Jasper
