celticrusader 78
Upon deciding to spend an hour or 2 down the local range at lunchtime I also decided to alter the trigger on my newly acquired .243 american ruger, after being completely satisfied I made the right decision to do so I made my way on down to the range. Once there I bought more Winchester ammo but this time I decided to go heavier and got rounds of 100 grain taking into account that my 1:9 twist would stabilise the heavier rounds but also prove more accurate than the 58's I have been using, not also did this prove the case but I managed to pay £15 abox . Well on the 50m point I managed to get bang on after a few clicks to the right on the scope and then I was onto the 100m point which confirmed my thoughts as I was bang on an inch high and the overall groupings were much tighter. All other rounds of limited or poor grouping were from the 58's I used before going on to the 100g rounds and after. Edited August 13, 2014 by celticrusader Quote Link to post
