adjustable comb

just wondering if u can get a adjustable stock fitted on a synthetic stock .like the way they they do with shotguns or is it only timber stocks,cheers sounder

Many synthetic stocks are not solid, but filled with a kind of dense foam. So I'd think twice about putting the coping saw to it if I were you.

When I had my o/u fitted I needed the comb raised and they did it with a panel of selfadhesive foam. I was a bit sceptical at first but it's been fine. I'll post a pic if you like.

 

On some semis, like the beretta, you can adjust the cast and comb using some bolts and plates accessable when you remove the heel plate.

thanks for replys,ya i was thinking of putting a comb on as i have high scope mounts and have to lift my head too much for my likeing, but i dont like them foam bit u stick in to rise it they keep moveing.cheers sounder,
