planete 120 Posted July 31, 2014 Report Share Posted July 31, 2014 Yes. I always fasten the line to a padded harness plus a shock absorbing lead extension if the dog is not a puppy. I find them mainly useful for the older dogs who have had no training and are old enough to be self-confident and leg it. Pups usually are only too happy to stick close and soon learn to come for a treat or a game without the faff of a long line (it is a royal pain to handle). Quote Link to post Share on other sites
