GreyRake 108
It does look like one but the colours may change as he gets a little older. Some people definitely dump unwanted kits. Water bottles something any ferret has to learn. Ive not had experience with polecats but it sounds a little tamer than id expect despite the fear. If its not causing you or your other ferrets any trouble Id keep it for now on the assumption its probably domestic. Quote Link to post
liongeorge 7
Thanks GreyRake I think your right, he must be domestic . I think if he were wild he would be absolutely mental and he would not accept or be accepted by the other ferrets, there would have been explosions in that pen for sure. The more I handle him he just seems like a normal ferret , he has probably been bred by some scum who has paid no attention to kits what so ever and has had no human contact, he just hides all the time. Maybe it's this behaviour that got him dumped in the first place. I'll give the ferret rescue people a ring to find out the best tecniques to bring him round to confidence etc. Quote Link to post
