Kay 3,709 Posted October 16, 2007 Report Share Posted October 16, 2007 Oh god i remember some years ago i had a row of 9 cages all holding single females , what a bloody nightmare , not one of them would live with another ferret, i had hells own game re homing them as single ferrets as at the time everyone wanted mixers to add to there supergroups of ferrets. Personally i dont think its worth the stress trying if theres so much aggression , i would have 2 groups jule, ad another kit to the newbies group, i have never had one group here always had at least 2, which i have at the min 3 hobs & 1 jill kit & 1 single jill who is to long in the tooth to be stressed & messed about , i think its goes with the territory , stroppy jills Quote Link to post
andy s410c 62 Posted October 16, 2007 Report Share Posted October 16, 2007 I lost a young jill many years ago to a adult jill.I had a large run where i kept 2 adult hobs 2 adult jills i had no problems initially as this youngster was about 10-12 weeks old.However went in one morning to feed them & the quietset jill which i,ve ever owned was happily munching on this youngsters head .To rub salt in the wound this adult jill was,nt a good worker just kept as a pet needless to say it went to a friend who wanted a pet..
