I was walking the path towardsthe realease pen earlier this evening and came across some droppings that looked like Roe but bigger and in a smaller pile, alomost like young horse droppings!! Simoman 110 Posted October 14, 2007 Report Share Posted October 14, 2007 I'll think you will find Red deer are more widespread than you think, Somerset, Devon, Hampshire, Lancashire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Sussex AND the Midlands, so yes there are feral Reds in Staffordshire. In Lincolnshire we have Red herds close to towns like Market Rasen and Scunthorpe......Failing that Fallow seem an obvious culprit...........Also I did ask which county you were in, smartarse Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Intresting Simoman Probally came from the Berkely Estate many years ago Or i remember a local sheep farmer telling me about the old deer park in a village not far from here.
