Guest nitevision Posted October 9, 2007 Report Share Posted October 9, 2007 sorry mate,was only pulling your leg,i deffo aint a born know it all,in fact i know pretty much bugger all,how old is your terrier jrt,sounds to me he is looking for somat to hunt in all that cover,he is bushing,running about in cover picking up scent,probably looking for rabbits,one of my terriers tears about like a looney,rabbits squirels,anything he can find. TerrierLad 0 Posted October 10, 2007 Report Share Posted October 10, 2007 Basically what nitevision said mate, the dogs just getting stuck in and looking for some snap (am not saying you don't feed him) its just what a terrier wants to do, encourage the dog and just keep an eye on him, he shouldn't go too far but try and get to know the area to make sure theres no earths in use (if your not a digger) or your dog might get stuck! Personally i like bushing its less work for me and dog still gets a kick out of it, especially when they get on the back end of a rabbit so like i said just keep an eye on him and encourage him (or her) Quote Link to post
