AndyH 52
Hi gents, I've started work on the somewhat butchered XS78 I got during moxy's charity thread. It's been stripped, the internals polished until they gleam, the trigger shimmed and fettled, and it all now works a treat. The stock, however, is still a pig! This is the design I've now come up with. It's on laminated beech ply, which I'll be taking down on a bandsaw, then inletting with a mortising machine & router. Does anyone have any suggestions as to improvements? The cardboard cut-out I've done feels good, and I'm sure with enough sanding, the proper one will too. Cheers, Andy Quote Link to post
