Angelfire 0
We used to drive them, A dozen or so would line the end of the woodland, while another dozen would walk through, it was a quite effective way of dealing with Charlie..........with a shotgun. Always had a couple of dogs at the ready though..... Phil* Quote Link to post

Guest Macnas
You can call them in if you know they are going to be about. Get yourself hid with a good view of where you think the fox might approach, make sure you're down wind of it, and get it as close as you can before you hit it. You can get a few mates with hounds or long dogs of some sort to drive through some wood or cover where you know foxes lay up, and try and be in the right place when they break. If all you have is yourself to yourself, calling is the job. There are a few good calls around, any good squeaker will do as long as the fox isn't tired of being called and shot at, which can happen in areas where a lot of shooting goes on. COMPO 54
If foxes are a problem, they are usually preying on someones chickens or pet rabbits etc... lay in hiding in between where you reckon they live/hide and where the food supply is, and shoot them on the way to the chickens at either dusk or dawn Quote Link to post
