BLACKBOB 9
When,t to check my lamp the other day and it was flat as a pancake. Its been put away since February and i must have forgot to recharge it before storing. I charged it and it wouldnt fully charge on the plug in charger, it was on for a couple of days. Took it out with the lamp and it wasnt up to full brightness, then suddenly to went to full brightness. I thought it was sorted, but it didnt hold its charge, and was flat the next day. I then put it on a mains battery charger and again it charged but wouldnt hold. I probably now the answer to this but, is it knackerd? its only 2 yrs old, dont know if theres any way to revitalise it. Its a DiaMec 12v 20ah sealed lead battery. It its kaput any one know the cheapest place to buy a new one. Cheers bob

SNAP SHOT 194
BB i'd say it's done if it's been laying around since feb, ideally you should of discharged it then recharged it at least once every month, your battery is suffering what is termed memory effect, i'd say. NEW BATTERY MATE.....
