Tiercel 6,986 Posted May 13, 2014 Report Share Posted May 13, 2014 The only chicken manure I have used is the pelleted form, that was dug in well prior to planting. Some say it is too strong to be used fresh and should be composted for at least a year. That said, the local chicken farm when emptying the sheds would spread it straight on the fields and has done for years. I would say go ahead it is mixed with straw after all.
