Harrows are an implement for a tractor that is designed to mulch dung, topsoil and remove weeds (there are many different one's for different purposes). it sounds like the one you drove over is a pasture harrow, which is for mulching up dung. mulching up the dung basically just speeds up the decomposing and nutrient cycles of the soil. there's a little education for ya. sorry if i seemed like a know it all. farm machinery is one of those areas for me. cheers I think they might have been taking the piss They are called chain harrows in the uk cheers Quote Link to post
