well for a change this year i manged to get on to patsull park my name has been on the sindicate for a few years and a spot finally opend up. so i grabbed it with both hands paid my money was given the key to the gate and could come any time i wanted and when i wanted (apart from the close season) what could be better. so off i go for my first proper look around midweek and its packed out i think i counted 9 people doing the night there midweek  but i wasent fishing anyway so i wasent really fussed, i found a nice quite place in the corner of the lake and start to catapult out som eof my hookbaits that i will be fishing on this year out, the lake is not massive maybe 7 or 8 acers in size but hasent got many fish in to say the least. i got speaking to a bloke who had been there for 4 nights on the trot and had one fish with was the lakes biggest fish called the wart  at 36lb he filled me in gave me some tips and whatever said he had fished it for 3 seasons every weekend and midweek if he gets the chance and usally gets 15 to 20 fish of a year with most if not all being 20+. so you can imagin i was down there the next day for a 24 hour session i picked the place were i had been its only a small peg not even 15 yrds to the other side but it looked fishy i had 2 in the end one come about 3am and the other about 5 am so i was over the moon the common was 27lb and the mirror was 23lb all the best whippet boy  (needless to say the common carp only had one eye  if you look propley you will be able to see)
