iwm 71
Anybody use Manchester terriers on rats. I grew up in the 60s with my dad and grandad using a Manchester all the time,Looking around for one and all i find are show bred types, just trying to find out if a working strain is still about. My jack russell is 9 this year and although still fit and catching a few rats age is catching up on her (and me). So the walk around a couple of farms and a golf course is all we do now!!!. iwm Quote Link to post
Mosby 355
I had an excellent Manchester. They have been show bred for the past century. But any terrier will figure out the ratting game. Get one if you want it for nostalgia and ratting. They're considered an endangered breed. It'd be good to get a few more out in the world. Quote Link to post
