kenj 131
Most carp anglers won't give you any tips. They tend to be very precious about their methods, even on commercials. As said before here, try for roach and skimmers and you will often get the occasional carp anyway. I prefer to fish bread punch, where it's allowed, some commercials near me only allow you to use their pellets, bought at their shop. Clever. Liquidised bread fished in balls over a float rig, on a rod, or pole will attract all sorts to your swim. Keep the feed light and you'll catch all day. This was a recent outing on bread from a local pond, that is free fishing. No ripped lips here. This was my blog post. http://www.urbanfieldsportsman.com/index.php/bread-punch-fishing-finds-some-winter-carp-and-crucians/ Quote Link to post
