mark williams 7,568
Picked up a Brocock Concept Super 6 yesterday and zeroed it in this morning. She`s not regulated, but if filled to 180 bar spits out a good 20/24 shots pellet on pellet. I ranged a 5p sized target out to 35 yds and between the breezes shot 2p groups off shooting sticks all hovering around 11.4 ft/lbs.Once I reached 30 + shots the lack of being regulated started to show and the power started to curve off slowly. I noticed also that if I put 200 bar into her the power was as low as 10.2 ft/bs and rose with each shot until she was on a pressure of 180 bar "Sweet Spot" then comes the consistant 20/24 shots at 11.4 ft/lbs.I am convinced, IN that "Sweet Spot", she would match any other pcp in .22 flavour. A hunting session would not see me shooting at as many as 25 pigeons unless it was a specially good day so 24 "Sweet Spot" shots could well suffice (I hope). Does any of the lads/ladies use this rifle or have used it please give their thoughts about it please. atb. Edited March 26, 2014 by mark williams Quote Link to post
valboskie 39
My son has one in .177 and he loves it .he uses it for hft its a very accurate whisper quite rifle Its light and suits him very well. I can't get him to pellet test the rifle he uses rws superdomes its doing 11.4 fpe and to be honest he has shot Some brilliant groups . He uses a hawke airmax ev map6 top bubble is 25yards cross hair is 35 then its 40 45 50 So its perfect for him at hft. When I entered other pellets into chairgun all his range markers change so he is happy as is. His is the walnut super 6 and honestly in can match any pcp for accuracy even with super dommes Cheers David Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,568
I should have mentioned that i was using Air Arms Fields Diablo 5.5mm 16 grain. If I remember correctly Si Pitterway did a review of the 177 contour and stated the Air Arms in 177 gave unbelievable accuracy, atb Edited March 26, 2014 by mark williams Quote Link to post
