Guest MOLLY
Out to the Lords gardens today for the 1st time, magnificent formal and informal gardens. We let Doris off to flush out any rabbits back into their sets and to see where they ran, unfortunately she also flushed a rather large hare and gave chase in full voice over the lords large perfectly manicured lawns and past the mansion i just waited for someone to walk over and chuck us out thankfully it never happened. The gamey had pointed out 4 sets to sort. And most of them were in horrible places, your nets got tangled up in dead branches and sticks, you had to bend double to get to them and the ground was like bell metal and full of roots, so i allowed Millet to do the digging First one out... another one in the same stop end, just that tiny bit too far away. So narrower shoulders required, although i had to be dragged out by the seat of my jeans ... A walk around more of the gardens and Doris flushed one into another set, we got 3 out of this one. One my new ferret Fatty killed underground and the other two were taken out by Evil Phen... Again another one flushed, back into the first set we had dug, so Millet only had to re dig the original hole. We were going home and remembered we had spotted a Mixy rabbit near another set earlier, so we decided to ferret it just to put the poor animal out of its misery. Boys never grow up...pinching apples Good old Doris It was another beautiful day, a beautiful place and no need to hurry, spent a lovely couple of hours. End of the day seven rabbits. MOLL.
