Ferreting Today

We where out today and what a barstool of a day , we were a pathway off a beach and it was that windy i was kidding on i was that bird off the titanic the nets where getting blown off and you couldn't here the locator . we had about a hundred nets down eight ferrets in and it was twenty minutes before i saw a rabbit i though bugger it ,its myxi but the ferret had its eyes out . We where doing big old burrow's and just getting the odd rabbit from them i ended up at a four holer and when the ferret didn't show i couldn't get a reading under fifteen foot on the burrow i took a couple of spits off the hole i put the ferret in and the burrow went straight down , i just sat it out and the lurcher was trying to shelter behind the ferreting boxes to get away from the gale force winds we got the ferret out at four thirty and headed home with ten rabbits , see what tommorrow bring hopefully thats better
