went CLA couple of years ago hopeing to talk to airarms about old school guns they no longer make khamsin, mistral etc but when aproached about such awsome springers of yesteryear the three gents on hand paid no interest, did not know, or had no clear history of what sidelevers they had made in the eighties.it was only to there embarrisment that the only woman on the stall could recall these mighty sluggies...whilst these three numnuts in shirts n ties brushed me aside they where only too helpfull in helping owners of pcp,s. I fear those of us with grass roots of airgunning running through our viens, ARE A DIEING BREED. even owning a springer these days can be seen as being poverrish. That said there are some awsome gas guzzlers out there pitty they are bloody high maintenance thou

I've still got a soft spot for springers, I grew up shooting with my dads Weirach HW35e. I now shoot with a AA s410 & a s200.

Even though the PCP has come into it's own recently, it's suprising the way some people look down their noses at spring rifles. They think that they are a thing of the past, and PCP is the 'must have' new technology.

In fact if you were to look up the history of the airgun, you would find that the first ever air rifles were in fact a type of PCP.
