A friend of mine says he has caught plenty using ferrets anyone else heard of ferrets huting squirel?

ferret v squirell is always a good scrap them greys are tough little blighters

It's also a pain in the arse having to climb all the way back down to fetch the spade when they lay up,and as for keeping the dogs under contro up there. ....

I would not consider any of my ferrets attempt to work squirrel How mad are you?? Squirrels can put up a very good fight and i think the ferret would end up worse of Take this for an example someone i know was out shooting one early morning with his springer, he shot a squirrel and sent in the dog to retrieve it the dog comes back with no squirrel and a bleeding messy muzzle from where the tree rat has 'bit back'.

 

Show some respect for your ferrets and dont put them up against something theyll probally end up worse or even dead
