DazAllison1 556
There's an old abandoned artifical nearby, was made years ago and hasn't been maintained over the years and is needing some tlc, was thinking of ripping it up and starting again, any advice, tips or pics on how I'd be best going about restoring it cheers Quote Link to post
neil cooney 10,416
Don't rip up the floor as that will have your level for drainage and just replace the sides and roof with the flags that will probably be beside the ruined earth. Then cover it well. Don't over use it and tell no-one it's there. 1 Quote Link to post
perthshire keeper 1,239
depending on what its made from. if its pipes then their shouldent be too much to do we used to just rake the crap out of them with draining rods and the flappy paddle type thingy on the end, but if its a real stone one made from natural stone then it may have buckled and caved in a wee bit or been dug by rabbits, what i would do is take the top off and all the foofing tops and try and put it right with out going ott on it so its as "aged " as possible that way it wont take as long to settel down Quote Link to post
