AlexHJ 0
Hi all! New member here looking for some advice on a scope for my Webley Xocet .22 carbine. I've been doing a bit of reading and I'm thinking of getting a Richter Optik from ebay. They seem to be cheap (I'm on a tight budget) but also well made and well recommended by many, I just don't know what size. The 3-9x 50 has some good reviews and is currently my number 1 choice, however for simplicity and cheapness could a fixed zoom be more suitable? I won't be using this regularly and would mainly be shooting at targets and rabbits approx 35 yards away and not at night. Apart from the increased cost, is there any disadvantage to a variable zoom? Regarding mounts, what is known to be a good, solid, reliable and cheap mount? Finally, what do people think of silencers? Again, are there any good, cheap ones out there? Cheers Alex Quote Link to post
