Hi folks can any body tell me if 2 ply jute is any good for

making purse nets it looks like hemp but i dont know if

it`s as strong

i once tryed to make nets out of jute but it kept snapping mayb me pulling to tight

You could use it but hemp is better, Jute tend to rot quickly i know you can get it easily from garden centre sand the like.

 

But i would rather use hemp it easier to knit with in my opinion.

AS for 2 ply soons like it will get broken quickly. If you are going to spend time making nets it might be better to used the old tried and test stuff....

 

If you do something cheap sods law it will cost you in the long run!!!!!
