Guest SJM
Arctic monkeys dog looks fine to me You dont see fat athletes do you? A running dog needs to be in lean hard condition. Its ok to have them a few pounds over in the summer when theyre doing next to nothing, but in the season they should be fit and you should be able to see the last couple of ribs and there should be muscle definition on the dogs shoulders, haunches etc. Dogs with saluki ancestry often have pin bones sticking out, it has nothing to do with nutrition, its the way they are built Quote Link to post

Im all ears and is always looking for advice if needed. Ive owned lurchers since i was 18 but it doesnt mean i know it all and i believe we still learn new tricks to are trade of working our dogs, ferrets, hawks etc by seeing, hearing others how they go about their sport! Im a strong believer of sticking together as we are the minority these days Once again thankyou all,and i will be posting much more as the hunting season gets on its way... Quote Link to post
