How Round Are Your Balls?

Recommended Posts

12mm steel left... 14mm smooth lead middle... 14mm rough lead right...

Not noticed a difference between these stevie... the rough lead are good to grip when you have wet hands... do you really think they sling better.... being similar to a golf ball and all' ...

not sure really if the rough ones shoot any better ,

was told about finishing them off like that a few years ago but only tried it recently as a different way of getting rid of the uneven bits off the mould.

looking at your pics of them magnified they just look rough and not as golf ball like as i thought

I use wheels weights and also i bought a box of lead jig heads at a carboot for next to nothing, filed the paint off and put them in the melt. Need to get another melt on actually
