JLS Stalker silencers

Anyone had any experience of the JLS Stalker MK1 silencer? I have seen them advertised in Gunmart and they seem good value at £110 compared to the T8 and PES.

 

I'm wanting to put one on a .243. Any comments??

I've got one on my .17hmr Absolutely spot on was recomended it by Tony at sandwell fieldsports.

Cheers Phil. I was wondering whether they were pushing it a bit, claiming it is suitable for a .243. I guess a .17 has a fair crack of a report, and if it can reduce that it might be worth considering for a .243

I wouldn't have a clue about being any good for a .243 mate. Best bet would be to give Tony at Sandwell fieldsports a ring you will get an honest answer of him.

They probarbly work, but are aluminium, and bloody huge, and a moderator that big and long, hanging off the muzzle [they are not reflex] is not a good idea.If cash is a problem, there are always s/h mods available.

Cheers for the comments Baldie. If I were t obuy second-hand, what should I be looking out for to make sure I don't get shafted Do certain makes suffer from corrosion worse than others? How much should I be looking to pay?

You wont go wrong with a stainless PES, absolutely nowt to go wrong with them.T4/T8,s rust internally, so be very careful.£100 is reasonable for a pes s/h.
