Foxgun Tom 75
I'm no longer pissed off, just a wee bit saddened at the reason, of why and how the badge appeared on E-bay I got my mate, who has an acount on ebay to ask the seller how he came across the L&R website badge he was selling and this was his response!! "WE WERE AT THE AT THE GALLOWAY COUNTRY SHOW AND MY SON WAS GIVEN IT OFF A GENTLEMAN OFF HIS OWN HAT WHO TOLD HIM ONLY 25 HAVE BEEN MADE BUT MY SON IS SAVING FOR AN X BOX SO IS SELLING SOME OF THE BADGES HE HAS COLLECTED. THE GENTLEMAN WAS PART OF AN EXHIBITION STAND AT THIS SHOW. HOPE THIS HELPS" I don't blame a kid for using his inititiave in making money, at least he's not out shopliftng for funds or selling dope to other kids, But!! if I was his Dad I'd be encouraging him to get out ferreting, gaining an interest in shooting, working dogs or fishing etc: instead of sitting in his room, playing poxy computer games Ps: the badge was a gift to the youngster not part of a swap! or any other transaction Tom Original post: I don't know wether to feel pleased or pissed off?? I got 25 badges made up and the intention was not to sell them, but to give them away to friends and other collecters in a swap? but some-ones put one on Ebay?? at present I've only given 5 away and I don't have a clue who posted on E-bay should I have considered selling them in the first place or should I still hand them out to mates as a keepsake? Guest Ditch_Shitter
'Lovely' way to bring a kid on, eh? What next? Someone gives the kid a pup and he thinks; 'This is handy ....!'
