hi ,thinking of getting a low end nv seen a few NS50 for sale and wonder if their and better than the pulsar add on and are they compatable with most scopes have a Nikon prostaff on at the moment

I do not know how it compares to the Pulsar, but under the right conditions mine will comfortably outperform what it says the maximum range is. Counted the bales in a bale wall at 120 metres, getting eye shine up to 100 metes away too!

Ns50 are alright, I had one then sold it on

 

If you can afford a dedicated unit like a pulsar I'd go for that

 

The ns50 cables and camera mount are a pain in the arse and the glow from the screen will light you up like a Christmas tree

Unless you get a bit of anti glare film from a window tinting company.....

Yes or you could buy a pulsar n550 that would also reduce it ...

But if you bought the Nite Site rather than the Pulsar, the window tint film is a much cheaper option to reduce glare!

thanks for replies S-mole and AR177, might have to wait a while for the n550, funds wise , got a lad close to me who's got the NS50 so going to have look, but thanks again for reply
