my lurcher has a open wound about the size of a 5 pence it is wet but not bleeding i am sliding a piece of plastic tube over it to protect.done this for two days now can't see any change yet.do i keep bathing it been using saline solution,if so how often,or use something else.will it matter if the tube touches the sore not sure if it does but when she waggs her tail ? not sure.thanks for any advice.bx

salt water once or twice a day, keep an eye out for infection and it should scab over in roughly a week and take two to three weeks to heal properly, keep the tube on for as long as it takes to heal completely
