Preventing Hunting Up On Lamp At An Early Age.

Other than getting a good recall is there any other steps you lads use to prevent the dog hunting up (by hunting up i mean the dog not coming back and hanging round the bushes after missing there quarry) cheers lads.

Try to give them easy slips when starting off a young dog. Prevent lots of misses.

It's all in the bond , why should a dog want to hang round outside a bush when you have made it believe the sun shines out of your ass end,

 

By that I mean, up till that stage I have made him believe that everything happens through me , standing beside me makes a rabbit appear that's what I want him to feel happens

 

Feck recall on the lamp , to have to do that would make me believe something not right in the relationship

Maybe ive been lucky but I have never had a mutt not come back after a chase yet
