Seems a bit steep for a Chinese made rifle with an Italian designed stock and marketed by the Yanks!

The triggers are a known problem and quite a few owners have replaced them with a WWT or Charlie Da Tuna trigger.

For usual problems look for reports on the SMK XS19.

Myself I would recommend a Hatsan 55 (.177) or 60 (.22). These are better known as the Webley Stingray Mark 2 only the Hatsan is cheaper. It has a far better trigger than the Stoeger or XS19 and in my opinion is much better built. They retail at about £130 which leaves a good bit over for a scope and mounts!

Personally, I'd leave it. For £200, a little extra you could get something a bit more special. Even the BSA XL tacticals are being spoke about and for the time being they come with a Gerber BSA folding knife worth £40 :)

Doing so myself but for a .25 cal :)

Anyway, have a little shop around.
